As many know, the vernal Tabernacle was converted into the Vernal temple in 1997. The dome of the old Vernal Tabernacle is available to see at the Ashley Valley Community Park. A piece of history A pretty fun thing to see if you are in the Vernal Area is the old dome that was on the Uintah Tabernacle. When it was changed to a temple, it was decided to give the temple two domes instead of the single one the tabernacle had, and the old dome was moved to the park.
